Doing product research (especially if you're new to Amazon FBA) is hard - probably one of the hardest parts of the journey. In this video, I've decided to map out my thought process when it comes to assessing and verifying new products to sell with Amazon FBA.

The 5 different areas that I think of whenever I'm considering a product, are the price, the demand, ability to differentiate, level of reviews, and amount of seasonality. In this video I'll discuss why each of those are important, and then I'll do some live product research verification for you using a tool called AMZ Scout.

AMZ Scout is very similar to Helium 10 and Jungle Scout, but it has a number of cool features that I wanted to show you - particularly the niche finder, and the ability to find a supplier at the click of a button. Pretty neat!

I frequently get asked which is the best for product research - AMZ Scout, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout. The answer is that they're all very good and all have their own pros and cons. My advice is to try them all and see which you like, as they can all be tested out for a relatively low price.
