Explaining Amazon FBA Business Models: Book Flipping, Retail Arbitrage Online Arbitrage, and Wholesale.


I thought it would be helpful if I provided an overview of different ways you can sell on Amazon. This episode aims to accomplish that in a back to basics manner. I think a lot of people get locked into one business model; and if it fails they get completely turned off with selling on Amazon. But the truth of the matter is; perhaps the initial model you chose wasn't right for you. Perhaps it was too risky, like launching a private label product, and you lost thousands of dollars. Or perhaps it was too slow, you were trying to do retail arbitrage, but didn't have the time to go to all the store's hunting for bargains. I think you get my point.

In this episode I talk the pro's and con's of book flipping, retail arbitrage, online arbitrage, wholesale and private label. They all have strengths and weaknesses depending on YOUR personal situation. Knowledge is power, and it can propel you to success over time. It's important to learn as much as you can about this business so that you can effectively compete against other sellers on Amazon and other online marketplaces like Walmart.com. With that being said, you can find a lot of inexpensive course on www.udemy.com. You don't need to drop $1,000 or $10,000 on a course from a well marketed guru. YOU DON'T need to spend your hard earned money on overpriced courses. The exact same knowledge is available for free or low cost elsewhere. Trust me those course sellers do not have any exclusive knowledge about being successful that you can't get on YouTube or Udemy or any other low cost course platform.
