OVERVIEW: If you're a real estate investor and you use the BRRRR strategy, you're absolutely going to want to pay attention because the landscape has changed. BRRRR stands for buy, renovate, rent out, refinance, and then repeat. And the beauty of the system is that you're able to get most of the cash that you put into the deal originally out pretty quickly after renovation. But the problem is this. Freddie Mac just announced that ultimately you're going to be required now to season the existing loan for at least 12 months before you can refinance. And this definitely changes things.
