In this short video, I discuss how to get a sample of your product. This is referred to as a pre-production sample.

When getting ready to launch your product, you may want to request a physical sample of it. The supplier will usually cover the cost of your sample but will ask for you to cover the cost of shipping. If you don't need to physically see the product, you can ask the supplier to record and send a video so you may see the final product.
