As an Amazon Seller, anytime you receive an email from Seller Support your heart will probably skip a beat. I have recently received an email from Amazon asking me to reverify the bank account that I have set up to receive the disbursement payments that Amazon send.

This is something that I would prefer not to do as there are too many stories from other Amazon Sellers on the official Amazon forums who have had big issues with Amazon reverifying their accounts:

However, as stated in the email below, Amazon has given me 60 days to verify my account and submit updated documents.

Subject:
"Important: Re-verify all your disbursement account or deposit method today"

Email:
"From time to time, it is necessary to reverify the disbursement bank account associated with your Selling on Amazon payment account.

Initiate the verification of all the bank accounts associated with your Seller account within 60 days of receiving this email.

If you have any questions regarding this verification process, contact our Seller Support team. Any information that we collect is handled in accordance with the Amazon Payments Privacy Notice – Selling on Amazon."

I am planning to wait a few weeks before starting this process, it will provide enough time to sell most of my inventory, disburse as much money as possible and ultimately, minimise my financial risk as much as possible.
